ReaMedica: Mombasa Facility
ReaMedica Healthcare Kenya Limited originally opened in Mombasa in 2019.
Our model for maternal care, highlighted by our unique nurse and midwife-led point of care limited ultrasound, has been part of pilots with the PharmAccess Foundation of East Africa and the Mu'ranga County Department of Health. Through these partnerships we have been able to bring ultrasound services to underserved rural communities. During these pilots over 90% of the mothers scanned had their first ever ultrasound, and were able to do so at the same price as a public hospital.
