 ReaMedica had the opportunity to meet again with Midwives Association of Kenya to discuss ways we can potentially partner in the future. We spoke about sustainability in the healthcare industry, ways of ensuring quality care, and how best to chart and track the successes of our CPD and CPE students. Our team was honored to sit down with a large group of MAK senior staff, including chairwoman Teckla Ngotie. We realize that our shared goals of prioritizing midwives, maintaining maternal healthcare rights, autonomy for patients, and general improvement of reproductive healthcare practices will only be accomplished if we work as a community. We look forward to future engagements with MAK and their team.

 We are very excited to announce that in partnership with Medixus we will be offering a virtual session on breastfeeding! The session will take place on Thursday July 13th, from 4-5pm EAT. This is our first major collaboration with Medixus, and we will continue to provide training and education in tandem with them. ReaMedica is committed to education, and programs such as this, along with additional CME’s and CPD’s, offer unique and valuable learning opportunities. This session will focus on equipping nurses with all of the knowledge they need so that they may feel empowered and prepared when assisting a mother's healthy breastfeeding journey.  As ReaMedica is a Midwife model clinic we fully understand their mission and passion for midwifery as an autonomous career choice, with the rights and safeties of health professionals protected, and in turn each unique experience of expecting mothers to be valued, prioritized, and well-prepared. We spoke with Alice and Caro, managing administrator and major events coordinator, for almost four hours. In tandem with our own head administrator, Penina, we were able to uncover many of the ways our similar CPDs and other education campaigns could strengthen the other’s. After a wonderful meeting we look forward to a continued conversation.
